After the past year of rockin many collabs and shows with Axl J. Foley, I'm glad to announce he is the newest addition to the Junk Jerz roster. This guys steez got Junk Jerz written all over it. Welcome to the Cru!

Junk Jerz "Junk In Public" has been released! The Album is being sold at Adrenaline Tattoos in Brick NJ, True Jersey in Toms River NJ, on this website, at www.CaveManRecords.com, and several other locations TBA. If you are a fan of underground hiphop, "Junk In Public" must be added to your music collection!

Hello underground rap scene, how are we doin? After long hard work, Junk Jerz is releasing our debut full length as a cru, titled "Junk In Public". This solid 10 track album features the Junk Jerz Squad in it's entirety! The albums being released early June on CaveMan Records. The release show is booked for June 16th 2012, at the Revolutionary Lounge in Toms River NJ, featuring solo performances by the Junkies, Junk Jerz Soldiers, and a full set by the Junk Jerz Cru. Whats good all my Junk Jerz peeps? Thanks for all the love n support you been showin! www.JunkJerz.com went from gettin' 1,500- 2,000 views per month the first year the site was up, now we gettin' roughly 2,000 views per week! We couldn't do what we do without the love n support from our fans, true HipHop heads.
In other news I'd like to let everyone know the release dates of Autonomous's "BiPolar Bear Album and the Junk Jerz "Junk In Public" Album will be pushed back to 5/20/12 due to last minute tracks added, sequencing, and mixing/ mastering/ duplicates. I know everyone been excited about these albums and have askin me about the release show. I'm glad to say they will be released soon! The release show will be DOPE! I'll have more info about that SOON!

I'm glad to announce that the Junk Jerz album "Junk In Public" will be released on 4/20/12!
the mastering process of Autonomous's "BiPolar Bear" LP is a little backed up and the release date is being changed from 3/31 to early April.
The info about the release show for these albums will be posted ASAP. Check back for frequent updates.

On 2/14/12 Autonomous released an EP titled "Fuck You, You Fuckin Fucks!" and a new T-shirt. Check the "store" page to purchase music/ merch.
Also, I'd like to give a BIG thanks to all the fans that been showin mad support. This website went from gettin 1,000+ views per month to recently gettin 1,500+ per WEEK! Thanks for the respect. It go a long way!
I started this cru knowing that each specifically selected member had the potential to come together and create the dopest most diverse cru in this generation of hiphop/ music in general. We been performin mad shows, alot in which are with big names/ well respected artists: 9th Prince (WuTang- Kill Army), William cooper, Illogic (Rhymesayers), Jedi Mind Tricks, etc. AND WE AINT STOPPIN HERE!
Dont forget to pick up an Autonomous T and a copy of the new EP!

We are adding a blog/ message board on the site! Stoked! This will be the place for fans to show love or hate, connect with the artists, etc. A great addition coming this month!
In other news... The past couple shows the Junkies rocked have been insane! The Junk Jerz full length album "That Junk" is being released on 4/20/2012. Also keep your eye out for the cru's solo releases. Theres alot of new albums, t-shirts, etc comin out this year!

Auto has started an indie/ experimental/ punk/ folk/ electronic/ spoken word/ hiphop project called "Word Is Bond" featuring Miles Lopez on guitar. Be prepared for Word Is Bonds upcoming performances/ releases.
In other News Junk Jerz been on their grind, MAD busy, and will be releasing their full length album soon on CaveMan Records. Liz Cisco, Junk Jerz, and Autonomous are three of several independent artists signed to CaveMan Records. Albums, T's, etc being released soon!

Autonomous jus killed it at a indie rock / punk garage show in Bayville, NJ. So much love in the building. The next big show is the LAWKI Zine Vol 6 Release Show/ 1 year Anniversary of the Movement, @The Cave, featuring 16 performances ranging from many styles of Hiphop to reggae to indie/folk. Junk Jerz will be in FULL EFFECT.

I'm currently in the process of updating/ renovating JunkJerz.com. All updates/ changes will be made by 12/11/11, so check back on monday and peep the freshness!
RECAP:
The Illogic show on Dec 3rd was DOPE. Autonomous MURDERED the MIC, and Dinz ft. Pilz also killed it along with half the alcohol in the bar. After that we wandered the casinos in AC till we stumbled into a club to peep DJ Scribble only to get kicked out 10 mins later for no good reason other then the fact we prob looked too shady. Junk J, what can I say...?
In other news, Autonomous, Pilz, and Dinz are rockin' a Junk Jerz set at the 9th Prince(Wu Tang/ Kill Army) show @ Dingbatz in Clifton NJ. Pryme Prolifik will also be there rockin' a solo set. JUNK JERZ IN THE BUILDING!

So... LAWKI Productions is a couple days behind in work because of the hurricane. We relocated to west PA, now we're back at The Cave, but the powers out (transformer blew up) and they say it may take a couple days to get it back on due to the high volume of emergencies... As everyone knows, the LAWKI Productions show Aug 28th @ the Revo Lutionary Lounge is postponed till Sunday September 11th.
AS FAR AS THE 30th: Travis Autonomous Applegate Solo Art Show @ the Cave, it will be postponed till further notice due to the power outage and other hurricane related circumstance.

Due to the hurricane sweeping thru this weekend, Sunday the 28ths show at the Revolutionary Lounge: "The Best Of Indie-HipHop" will be postponed till September 11th. THE SHOW WILL GO ON! This lil' hump is only going to build the suspense, because we got some AWESOME performances this show, and alot of tickets sold/ confirmed guests. This is gonna be the show that caps off the summer and leads us into the vibe of the autumn events!
On that note, stay positive, and I hope everyone stays safe this weekend!

So we been MAD BUSY ova here at The Cave (Junk Jerz Headquarters)!
First off... Due to the hurricane thats going to hit the Jersey Shore, the evacuations, and the fact that all buisnesses on the shore have to shut down this weekend, the Sunday August 28ths show "The Best Of Indie HipHop" @ the Rev Lounge has been postponed till Sunday September 11th. The show will still go on! And we have MAD confirmed guests. This ones gonna be bangin!
Another thing: Junk Jerz merch is in the works and comming soon! Ts, Albums, etc. Dinz just finished a video for "Eric Peters" that can be found on the "Video" page. Junk Jerz is also in the process of gettin our final edit of the "Time For Realness" Video featuring: Razorbrains, Pilz, & Autonomous. Both vids are lookin DOPE. Expect to see more Junk in the Store comming next month!

Videos, videos, videos! Yesterday the Junk Jerz Cru were rollin deep for the filming of the Dinz AKA Vladamir Slimebuckets music video "Eric Peters". I must say shootin this vid was such a great time! Im not gonna leak any details, BUT I will have the video up as soon as we get it back from the director. Wait till you see this!
Junk Jerz is also lookin to shoot a vid for one of our ILLEST tracks "Fresh Blood"! Plus, a few members are shootin vids for our solo ish. Keep them eyes peeled! haha. The Dinz "Eric Peters" video will be up soon! - Auto

Right now the Cru under some serious organization as far as the website, promoting, recordings, etc. By this fall 2011, not only will the Junk Jerz MixTape be out, but mad Junkies bout to be droppin albums. SO MUCH HAS BEEN GOIN DOWN WIT THE JUNK JERZ CRU. Dinz did a video for "Eric Peters", Junk Jerz did a vid for "Time For Realness" and we should be gettin back final edits for both SOON. You gotta see these!
We are also planing a Tour for mid- October. Prolly goin to NY, then make our way to Minneapolis, then down toward NC and back up the east coast. Who knows? We def touring and will have dates up soon.
We also got Junk Jerz merch out and LOTS MORE to come! LAWKI Productions/ CaveMan Records released a D.I.Y 6 track Junk Jerz EP titled "That Junk" featuring Unreleased tracks off our upcomming Full Length Album to give you a lil taste of whats to come! All proceeds will go to the "Junk Jerz Tour Funds".
In very similar news, LAWKI Productions/ CaveMan Records ALSO released a D.I.Y. Autonomous EP called "The Shape OF HipHop To Come", a 7 track "teaser" featuring tracks off the upcomming Autonomous EP Trilogy being realeased 1 month at a time starting September! Check back, stay updated, and grab a copy of "The Shape Of HipHop To Come".
We will also have Junk Jerz Ts and stickers soon in the Junk Jerz "Store" along with albums, etc.
*Side Note: We put out the following 2 EPs 8hrs ago and ALREADY sold mad copies! Sheeeit, cant wait till the Full Length!
